Portrait Feature

This feature allows you to design and run portrait-mode graphics on the Sweet Home application.

Requirements:

  • iOS app v5.5.9 or later / Not available on Android

To build a portrait graphics for sweet home, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Setup Portrait Background Frame​

Copy the contents of the Portrait Feature - Getting Started Resources/Touch Screen Graphics/Backgrounds folder into the following path on your machine:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Vantage\InFusion Design Center {version}\Touch Screen Graphics\Backgrounds

2. Build Portrait Graphics with Touchscreen Designer​

  1. Add a Generic TPT to you Design Center project from the Vantage Objects tab.
  2. Select the new Generic TPT object and set the resolution to 1920x1280.
  3. Open the Touchscreen Designer, then set the 19.5:9 frame background imported at the previous step.

Now, you can design your graphics using the gray frame as a reference.

3. Prepare the portrait graphics ZIP file​

  1. Export the graphics.
  2. Build a ZIP with the following structure:
zipname.zip
└── portrait
    ├── Images/
    └── LcdConfig.xml

Once the ZIP file is ready, you can apply it to a Sweet Home system just like a standard (landscape) ZIP file: Import graphics into the app.
