Video Doorbell
The Video Doorbell integration allows you to receive calls when someone rings your doorbell, allowing you to:
- View the video SIP stream.
- Talk to the visitor using your device’s microphone and speakers.
- Unlock your door by launching a Vantage task.
- Turn on the lights by launching a Vantage task.
To configure your SIP Doorbell, go to the system configuration page and click on the gear icon next to "Video Doorbell".
The Doorbell configuration is divided into five sections: Profile, Network, Audio, Video, and Task VID.
Profile
The Profile page allows you to set up your SIP account and Doorbell number. It also lets you choose a ringtone.
The Name, Password, Domain, and Doorbell Number fields must be completed for the SIP configuration to work properly. If these fields are left blank, the SIP account will not be saved.
Name:
Enter your SIP account name.
Password:
Enter your SIP account password. Your password is not stored.
Domain:
Enter your SIP account domain, e.g., sip.antisip.com.
Doorbell Number:
Enter the account number that the SIP Doorbell should call.
Ringtone:
Select a ringtone to be played when you receive a call from the SIP Doorbell.
Network
Configure your network preferences, such as the preferred transport type. You can also enable security settings such as SRTP or ZRTP.
Audio
Set your audio preferences, such as PCMA and PCMU codecs.
Video Codecs
Select your preferred video codecs for video calls with the SIP Doorbell, such as H.264 or H.263.
Task VID
When receiving a call from the doorbell, you can launch a task to unlock your door or gate and another task to turn on the lights.
Specify the Task VIDs for these actions. If no task is selected, the corresponding button will not appear during an incoming call.
